For a person to be able to find (and keep!) a job, go back to school (and complete it!) or simply complete a project that’s close to their heart, certain winning conditions have to be met and their basic needs met.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With this in mind, our personal autonomy development service<\/strong> is designed to support people aged 16 to 35 in vulnerable situations, to help them stabilize their life path and project themselves into the future.<\/p>\n

If you’d like to start looking for a job or go back to school, but first need a helping hand to get off on a stronger footing<\/strong>, we’re here for you!<\/p>\n<\/div>

To help you acquire skills and adopt behaviors that will contribute to your independence, here’s what we offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • A caring intake process<\/strong>, during which we will assess your needs and set up a personalized action plan to meet them;<\/li>\n
  • One-on-one meetings and targeted interventions <\/strong>, on a variety of topics, such as housing, budgeting, nutrition, conflict management, healthy lifestyle habits, etc;<\/li>\n
  • Referral to other resources<\/strong> (mental health, substance abuse, etc.), if necessary;<\/li>\n
  • Support in obtaining last-resort financial assistance<\/strong> and\/or important documents (health insurance card, social insurance number, school transcripts, etc.), as needed;<\/li>\n
  • Opportunities to participate in projects and activities that will provide you with concrete, constructive and positive experiences<\/strong> (volunteer work, various workshops, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
