VOLUNTEER PROJECTS TO DEVELOP YOUR STUDENTS’ SKILL!

Volunteering fosters social involvement in the community and plays an important role in developing young people’s sense of belonging to it. This can have a positive impact on their personal and academic development, and foster their understanding of local issues.

Community involvement promotes the social inclusion of young people and enables them to develop skills and competencies that can be transferred to other areas of their lives.

The school’s role in teaching values and standards

While the family plays a decisive role in learning the values and norms associated with community involvement, the school, as a place that reaches out to all young people, also represents an important agent of socialization and a propitious environment for experimenting with different forms of engagement.

In addition to making a difference in their community, students will acquire a number of skills that will add value to their CVs!

With this in mind, the CJE Verdun would like to offer logistical and financial support to the high schools in its territory, to make it easier for their students to carry out volunteering projects.
