Entrepreneurship projects

Designed to provide students and teachers with concrete entrepreneurial experiences through the implementation of projects in high schools and the community.

ENCOURAGING AN ENTREPRENEURIAL CULTURE AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE

As described in Politique québécoise de la jeunesse 2030, the Quebec economy is largely based on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). SMEs and the people who run them create and maintain jobs in every region of Quebec, invest in new activities and stimulate innovation.

Quebec’s prosperity therefore depends in large part on the quality of its entrepreneurship.

Helping young people develop their independence and audacity

By giving them concrete experience in the form of projects, young people will have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of entrepreneurship, grasp its challenges, and eventually develop a taste for going into business for themselves.

Educational institutions are ideal environments for fostering an entrepreneurial spirit.

Promoting an entrepreneurial culture can also have a positive impact on the training of young people.

Indeed, young people introduced to entrepreneurship have the opportunity to develop their autonomy, capacity for action, sense of responsibility and audacity.
